Terbinafine tablet: This tablet is demonstrated for the treatment of onychomycosis of the toenail or fingernail due to dermatophytes (tinea unguium). Terbinafine cream: Contagious disease of the skin caused by Trichophyton (e.g., T. rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T. violaceum), Microsporum canis and Epidermophyton floccosum. Yeast diseases of the skin, basically those caused by the class Candida (e.g., C. albicans). Pityriasis (tinea) versicolor due to Pityrosporum orbiculare (too known as Malassezia furfur).
